WHO WE ARE
Beech Grove Bible Church is a socially diverse group of believers in Jesus Christ whose commitment is to the deliverance, development, and empowerment of the individual and the community for the building of God’s Kingdom and whose worship is spirit-filled and Bible-based.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
We are a Christ-Centered church that is dedicated to loving God with all our heart, mind and soul and to loving our neighbor as we love ourselves.
We believe that there is one God who has chosen to reveal Himself in three manifestations, God the Father, God the Son (Jesus the Christ), and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God and the final authority for salvation and Christian living.
We believe that all have sinned and have come short of God’s holy standard and thus we all need salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ, not by our “good works” it (salvation) is the gift of a loving God to a fallen mankind.
As Christians we are to love God and others; we are God’s ambassadors on the earth and the world should always see God in us.
We believe in the return of Christ for His church, but we are not pre-occupied with His return, rather we are occupying until He returns, bringing heaven to earth. “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, in earth as it is in heaven.”
